About us

Fénix F.C. is a team of Latinos and players from other countries, like Iran and Turkey, who live in Ottawa. Most of us care first about our love of soccer and, second, about the camaraderie: making friends.

Here, having a good time and playing as a team comes first; winning comes second. We say we never win, and yes, we exaggerate: it's just a game. The truth is we've reached a few finals, gone deep in several tournaments, and we're still playing and looking for anyone who wants to play with us.

But above all, what we're left with is friends. We've been together for four years now, and that's what it's all about.
